Share The Love, after a long silence, is proud to announce our latest projects. We have produced 3 new books of drawings by Maureen Love, with permission of the Maureen Love Calvert Estate.
One is an updated version of The Draft Horses of Maureen Love we issued a few years ago. We have added some new pages and new photos to it, now 32 pages and in a soft-cover format. Price $45 plus shipping.
Next is a book we made that was inspired by the display Miniature Menageries: The History and Artists Behind Hagen-Renaker, Inc. at the W. K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Library on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona
The Arabian Horses of Maureen Love contains her sketches and drawings of Arabians, many that had direct connections to the Kellogg Arabian Horse Center in Pomona, California. We were able to identify many of the actual horses that Maureen sketched using her notations on the sketchbook covers, including Abu Baha, Abu Farwa, Alla Amarward, Ferseyn, Ghezala, Ibn Nataf, La Nada, Marranas and Nataf.
The soft-cover format of the Arabian Horses of Maureen Love book is 80 pages, price $55 plus shipping.
We created a longer version with many more drawings, 110 pages in a hard-cover format, price $75 plus shipping.
I am taking orders now. Many of you who were at Clinky Mayhem were able to preview the new Arabian book and placed orders there. We can bring items to HRCC Fellowship or drop off at the Clarion one day at Breyerfest. Shipping will have to wait until after Breyerfest.
We also have some sets of greeting cards of some of her Arabian horse drawings. They are 5"x7" and contain one each of nine drawings in a matte finish for $27.
We also have a set of 8 of the above cards in a special subtle shimmer finish I couldn't resist for $32.
